Located 20-minutes from Islamabad’s city centre, Sector F-10 was established nearly a decade ago and it has now become one of the city’s most sought after neighbourhoods.
An upscale residential enclave… If you drive down the wide, tree-lined roads that cut across the Sector, you will see well-maintained parks (with jogging tracks, play areas and gazebos) and sports grounds, not to mention rambling houses with gardens and porches. The presence of reputed schools and hospitals add to the area’s value.
A shopper’s heaven… The F-10 Markaz forms the Sector’s commercial spine. If you are a fitness enthusiast, you can opt for a membership at any one of the gyms located there, or visit a spa or a salon to unwind. A cluster of grocery stores, clothing, tailoring and gift shops and pharmacies are located there, catering to the everyday needs of residents. The flower market, with colourful bougainvilleas, hibiscus, roses and tulips, is worth stopping by.
Food for everyone… Several cafes and fast food joints – including Café Paprika, Espresso and Rock Bistro – have popped up recently, attracting the city’s fashionable crowd. For desi food lovers, Hyderabadi Chatkhara and Sufi Restaurant are the go-to places, while the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goodies at Kitchen Cuisine and Jamil Sweets will invariably draw you in.
The real estate take… Classified as premium real estate, the Sector is completely built-up. Residential property options were limited to houses built on large plots until the recent construction of condo-style apartments. Commercial property options include standalone shops and retail spaces in low-rise buildings. Houses located on the main thoroughfares are increasingly being repurposed to serve as commercial enterprises. Property prices and rentals have increased by approximately 50% in the last three years.
In a nutshell… Once a quaint residential pocket, today Sector F-10, with its luxury residential projects, scenic views and plentiful dining options, offers residents an idyllic living.
