Dave Asprey, an entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley, drank yak-buttered tea while travelling high up in the mountains of Tibet, and found himself instantly rejuvenated by it. This led him to experiment with coffee, and he created ‘Bulletproof Coffee’which he claims can lead to weight loss and improved brain function.
Despite its name, Bulletproof Coffee does not require bullets of any form – just a knob of butter (preferably grass-fed) or ghee in your coffee which should be brewed from beans, with a teaspoon of medium chain triglycerides (MCT) oil (such as coconut oil). Continue reading
