Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Margalla Hills, Sector F-7 is one of Islamabad’s oldest and most upscale residential areas.
Location, location, location… A stone’s throw away from the Hills, Sector F-7 is a short drive from some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including Daman-e-Koh, Japanese Park, Murghzar Zoo, Shah Faisal Mosque and Saidpur Village, a quaint tourist destination.

Super hip shopping… One of F-7’s highlights is undoubtedly its shopping options, thanks to Jinnah Super, its bustling commercial hub. Boutiques and trendy clothing stores line the streets of this fashionable shopping area; popular brands include Amir Adnan, CrossRoads, Junaid Jamshed, Outfitters and Stoneage. Several shops selling pricey curios, trinkets, and techie gizmos also have a presence there and have made Jinnah Super the go-to place for teenagers and 20-something’s looking for the perfect birthday gift for their BFFs or keepsakes for their Valentine, while Saeed Book Bank is frequented by the bookworms. For the regular ‘bread, eggs and milk’ shopping each one of F-7’s four sub-sectors has its own commercial pocket.
Food for every taste bud… F-7’s selection of restaurants and eateries is impressive, with old time favourites such as Golden Dragon, Kabul Restaurant, Kim Mun and Taj Mahal. But Jinnah Super’s young and hip also have plenty to choose from: Café Lazeez, Gelato Affair, Rendezvous, The Hot Spot, Upper Deck and the recent addition Hardee’s.
Naturally fun… Other than their fetching backdrop, the Margalla Hills provide plenty of recreational opportunities. Hiking and trekking trails are well marked; for people who are enthusiastic about exercise, the Hills offer hang gliding, paragliding and rock climbing. Bird watching is equally popular.
Last, but not least… Sector F-7 has no major health services within its boundaries, but its location remedies this. Ali Medical Centre, one of Islamabad’s largest hospitals is located a few minutes away in neighbouring Sector F-8, where several other medical and health centres are also located. There are a number of government and private schools and colleges in F-7.

In a nutshell… As far as good living goes, Sector F-7 is about as good as it gets. With wonderful scenery, and easy access to some of Islamabad’s best shopping and recreational hubs, the popular saying in Islamabad is spot on: “If you live in Islamabad, F-7 is the place to be.”
