Hayatabad is one of Peshawar’s largest and most upscale suburban areas. It was established in the 1970s, and is located at the southwest periphery of the city, easily accessible via the Grand Trunk Road.
An affluent neighbourhood… Hayatabad is home to a significant number of expatriates, as well as people belonging to several ethnic communities including Afghans, Chitralis, Hindkowans and Pakhtuns. The area boasts of rambling houses with porches and manicured lawns, and wide, tree-lined roads.
